The
Nevada Report
Card is the Nevada Department of Education’s new public
education accountability reporting website. In compliance
with both federal and state laws, the Report Card will
assist you in locating a wealth of information pertaining to
K-12 public education in Nevada. You
have access to school, district, and state achievement
information on Nevada’s state-mandated assessments, student
discipline and attendance, qualifications of teachers,
graduation and dropout rates, fiscal data, and more. For
your convenience, you can even download and print state,
district, or school-level reports of accountability (often
referred to as “Report Cards”).
Features within the website will allow you
to “dig” deeper into relevant educational issues. For
example, you can make achievement comparisons among schools
matched on demographic characteristics using the “Custom
Search” feature. You can also look at differences between
school districts in terms of categories such as “per-pupil
expenditures” using the “Compare” feature. You can even look
at the various sources of funds received by school and
districts for professional development activities.
