R. Karlene McCormick-Lee, Ed. D., Chair
Dr. McCormick-Lee served as a teacher, an instructional coach, a school administrator, and multiple Cabinet-level positions in Clark County School District, NV. As Associate Superintendent, she directed a proactive organization promoting data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. She also designed, developed, implemented, and sustained scalable, successful initiatives in research, assessment, talent management, instructional technology, Magnet, and CTE.
Dr. McCormick-Lee serves as visiting scholar at the University of Nevada Las Vegas Educational Leadership and Policy Development graduate program. For ten years, she has worked with several national education non-profits and for-profits developing cognitive and non-cognitive skill assessments within balanced, effective assessment systems.
Dr. McCormick-Lee drives educational transformation by shaping innovative programs to achieve critical educational goals for children. Working with large urban, rural, and consortia districts, she steers collaborative efforts for strategic planning and policy development driving programs that result in clearly defined positive outcomes, improved schooling, and increased organizational effectiveness. With expertise and skill in leading successful reforms across diverse and complex systems, Dr. McCormick-Lee develops inventive, unique, functional frameworks to solve challenging problems.
