Middle School or Junior High School License

This license allows an educator to teach specific subjects in grades 7-9. A Middle School or Junior High School license does not qualify a licensee to teach ninth grade in a high school setting pursuant to NAC 391.113. An applicant for a middle school license must meet the requirements for a major field of endorsement or area of concentration as outlined in NAC 391.111, in addition to the general academic requirements. A holder of an existing Middle School or Junior High School license may add additional subject area endorsements to that license by meeting the requirements for a minor field of endorsement.
