Self Guided Training Materials

The NDE is offering this self-guided presentation to jumpstart the implementation of the Nevada Formative Writing Tools.  After downloading the presentation, you can watch it anytime from the convenience of your own computer.

What You Will Need:
Please download the resources below and save them to your computer.   Print the Evaluation Guides, Argumentative Exemplars, Argumentative Tasks, and the Agenda.  You will also need a pencil/pen and a highlighter during the training.

To View The Presentation:
The self-guided training presentation is approximately 4 hours.  If your computer already has Microsoft PowerPoint installed, double click on the file name to launch and view the training.  If your computer does not have Microsoft PowerPoint installed, you can download and install a free viewer from the Microsoft website http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13.

**If using a PC that uses Windows Operating System, you must use Internet Explorer to download the power point.
