Products and Services Provided as part of Nevada Ready 21

Learning Device  

  • One CTL NL6B Chromebook for Education for each student and eligible staff member in a school.
  • One protective case per device will ship with each device shipment.
  • All devices will arrive provisioned and ready for use.
  • A 2% buffer stock of Chromebook devices at each school site for replacement purposes.
  • Teacher and staff member devices include a VGA adapter (for projectors and other displays).
  • CTL will help schools and districts implement theft deterrent messages that appear on the screen of a lost device to identify the device as school property and a phone number to call if found.

Related Services  

In addition to devices, CTL will provide these related services:

  • 24 x 7 helpdesk for the submission of support requests by users at each school.
  • Each NL6B device is covered by a depot-repair warranty that includes accidental damage coverage.
  • Shipping and suitable packaging are provided at no additional charge.
  • Repair or replacement of devices will occur within a timeframe that shall ensure that in the event of an issue with a device, the student or teacher can quickly be assigned a temporary replacement unit out of the 2% buffer stock to ensure that they are not without a functioning device for more than one school day.
  • CTL will communicate with each school to coordinate device shipments and provide planning support for deployments.
  • CTL will ensure all devices are labeled with record asset information prior to shipping to participating schools, if desired.
  • Disposal:   CTL will offer end-of-life recycling/disposal services free of charge for products sold under this contract. Shipping charges to be included.

Internal Network Infrastructure  

Uptime Requirements:   CTL will ensure that all functions of its classroom solution are reliable and available to the schools during the Period of Prime Usage. This period is 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, local time, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. During this period, the required uptime is as follows:
