Part B of IDEA provides funds to states to assist them in providing free appropriate public education (FAPE) to children ages three through 21 with disabilities who are in need of special education and related services.

The following IDEA section 618 data files are linked to the U.S. Department of Education website under IDEA Section 618 Data Products: State Level Data Files. The 618 Data files are provided in Comma Separated Value (.CSV) format. This format allows for data to be easily loaded into a variety of applications. However, they are best viewed in applications that allow data to be manipulated in columns, most common of which are spreadsheets or databases (Excel, Access, etc.).

    Part C

    Part C of IDEA provides funds to states to assist them in developing and implementing statewide, comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary interagency systems to make early intervention services available to all children from birth through age two with disabilities and their families.
