Join Nevada Department of Education’s cross-office collaborative for a data deep-dive and learn how we can wipe out Chronic Absenteeism!

During this workshop, participants will Be A Data Superhero and:

  • Understand Chronic Absenteeism and its effect on student achievement towards college and career readiness
  • Understand how Chronic Absenteeism contributes to your school performance rating
  • Dig deep and evaluate your school data to address Chronic Absenteeism
  • Apply evidence based research to develop a school improvement plan that supports student attendance


    NDE’s Data Driven Nevada Team supports all districts and schools with an applicable understanding of how to access, interpret, and use data from multiple sources to drive continuous improvement of student achievement and educator effectiveness.

      *The morning and afternoon sessions are the same – two sessions are provided to allow more to attend.
      **Please note that registration is limited and is on a first come, first serve basis. Once registration capacity is met – you will be placed on a waiting list to attend.
