Item Specifications

Item Specifications may be seen as a 'bridge' between state Standards and test questions 

New Math Standards were adopted by the State Board of Education in August, 2006.  New Specifications have been developed to align to these standards.  The 2007-2008 test cycle will reflect a combination of the 2001 and 2006 Math Standards.  2006 Standards will be field tested (will not count toward a student's score) during this cycle.  For more information on Math Standards, click the "Standards" link on the left.
